these pictures were taken while they were away, initially to check him out as it was suspected that he had artritis, as he was having problems walking, ( mind you hes a hefty boy) they took both rather than leave her on her own, just as well as it transpired that she had some sort of problem , ( pus and nasty stuff in her breast area) which was duely drained and then they discovered she had a growth in that area, which unfortunately after removal has been discovered to be mallignant, so she will have a close eye kept on her,
now the good news, they both came `home` yesterday,( photos to follow) we havent seen either of them today, but hopefully we`ll find them tomorrow as he has to have drops given each day,

Just as well they were taken together as I know Swans don't like to be parted, hopefully now both in good health.

Hope they do well, Sue. No mean feat, taking on swans.
They are beautiful, I really hope they do well. Bless your heart for taking care of them - you are an amazing person, not many would take on swans. I know what our Chinese Geese are like...a challenge indeed.
